Kids at the pool

Well, since the Lafferty's are in the mountains of Switzerland this weekend with the snow. Figured I'd post a few pool pictures from a few weeks ago. I really like the one of Emily with the towel on her head - reminds me of Johnny Depp in Pirates of the Caribbean :0)

Fused Glass Pendants

Here are a few recent dichroic (kind of sparkly glass) fused glass pendants I've made recently. I've really been enjoying this new artistic outlet. :0)

this is a little soap or candle holder with feet. Ya can't see the feet in

the picture but they are there. it's about 6" across.

This piece turned out quite well. Its a shallow bowl about 14" across.
I've been enjoying the blue and khaki colors together with a swish
of rutile blue which usually turns green. The little things in the left
corner are toothpick holders and a green candle holder.
a semi-tall vase like thing. About 11" inches high.
Very earthy tones.

a mini-wok. :0) Its about 6" across and too cute.

So, there you have some recent pieces. Another kiln load will be finished by the end of the week so I should have some more pieces to show everyone. :0) New classes start up in two weeks.

So I woke up this morning with a new song Thomas wrote in my head. Its a little too catchy. He played it a few times yesterday and its stuck in my head. My favorite verse is the last one.
