Clay

Been playing around with making clay pieces using gashu (dark "paint" on clay, then press texture into it and then throw it out thinner to stretch it, before shaping it). It can be hard to work with and I've made a few messes but some of the pieces are turning out pretty cool. Here is a piece I started tonight:
And here is one of my first pieces that has been fired and glazed.

My poor hands are super dry from working with the clay tonight but hopefully they will recover. The life and pain of being an artist. :0)~ Dry hands and lungs full of dirt.
