Pantone Color of the Year
In case you haven't heard, the Pantone color of the year is Honeysuckle. A super pretty pink that I just happen to be starting a new jewelry blank that incorporates a pink very close to Honeysuckle. It also has petal pink, plum, neo-lavendar light, fuchsia, and on one end I threw in a little blue and green. The 1st firing will come out of the kiln tomorrow. I am curious how it will look as its a little different than what I've been doing. Lately I've been experimenting with different techniques just to see what will happen. :0) Also, for those that were at Chris' wedding, you may have noticed I was in a dress with a lot of pink in it. Sure the church coordinator said I looked like a watermelon, but I think she meant to say I was rocking the color of the year and was super in fashion. ha.

That woman was walking on the altar DURING a wedding in jeans. I wouldn't worry about her sense of taste.

Ha. Yes, Thomas. True. I am totally sure I didn't look like a watermellon. The dress had no green in it. I just think it was pretty funny to be all dressed up and super cute and have someone say I looked like a watermellon. That is really funny when you think of it.
I think Honeysuckle is a great color of the year. Not sure many boys can wear it and not sure I'd decorate much with it but it is a fun color.

fun! I'm eager to see the final product. Ditto to Thomas' comment. I thought it was really cool how you were dressed for the season! Way to be positive about her lame comment.
