Josh

Today I could have written how great the concert I went to last night was down at the Parrish. But I can’t write about that b/c I couldn’t get in. It was a SXSW thing and they were only letting badge holders in. There were a bunch of bands playing but I was mainly going for Josh Radin (I learned it is pronounced with a long “a” and not a short “a” like I’ve been pronouncing it). Ingrid Michaelson, Cary Brothers, and Sara Bareilles were also playing and I think they are groovy. But maybe its for the best that I didn’t get in b/c that would have meant I would have been out til 1 or 2am on a school night. I was really tired last night as it was and had debating trying to go downtown anyway but thought I better try b/c those bands don’t come around much. Oh well. I did have a nice little walk from the capitol to 6th street and back. I saw lots of skinny jeans. They just don’t look too comfortable. Especially on the boys. I learned from one of my rockstar friends recently that some guys wear girl jeans to get the skinny look and some wear boy skinny jeans. I saw a guy in a skirt too but its Austin so it didn’t seem weird. Oh, back to Josh. I did get to hear him do a little 30 minute live thing on 94.7 yesterday so that was groovy. So, after the little downtown walk I headed home and Liz came over to work on a project. She needed my printer. Which I was very proud of my printer. It just hooked into her little Mac and worked just fine with no drivers or anything. Ofcourse that might have been her cool Mac and not my cool printer but whatever. I am glad its Friday.
