Tuesday's Randomness

To those people who have lost lids to their bowls. I think I found them...all...in my cabinet! How I lost the bottoms to so many lids I have no clue. You'd think bowls would not run off without their lids.

A find at Ross Dress for Less (that name seems too long, would you know what I was saying if I just said Ross? Or would you think of my dad instead?) Anyway - this was a box with a price tag of $35 I think but was marked down to $4 because it was missing a piece and one of the bases had come off the top. Wasn't broken off, just not attached... so me and my glass glue put it back together with no problem. I found it pretty. Didn't really *need* it but a girl does need pretty things to entertain with, right? (Karina, do you have my back? :0)

And here is another fun "i-don't-need-it-but-i-like-it" purchase. I was at the renegade craft festival a few weeks ago and was looking for something unique and fun and this is what I found. Button Flowers! ok, I think they are adorable and yes, I spent too much on them. :0) I am now working on taking the idea further and playing with some of my own ideas in creating something like this.
I received a crate last week. Maybe in a future post I shall tell you want it is! :0)

Plastic containers have a negative charge that repels their also negatively charged lids.

Like-charged pairs of socks also repel one another.

The polar-opposite socks and containers cancel out each other's mass when they meet, blinking right out of existence.

    It's science.

Of course you have my support, Michele! That's so cool that you fixed it yourself and scored such a nice piece for 4 bucks! :)
