Rouge Ceiling Fan
I finally tackled my crazy ceiling fan in my bedroom tonight. My neighbor has the same fan and so she turns my light/fan on and off at random times with her remote. When she does this I can't turn it back on until she does. Sometimes it takes a week or so. This is not so cool. I've known for a while (like YEARS) that I just needed to switch the codes in the fans receiver and remote. Problem was I wasn't sure where the switchy thing was in the receiver and knew it would require a ladder and a screwdriver. So, I pulled out the tools and I now have a fan/light that I can control. This is quite awesome. :0)~

TQB - I didn't see you volunteering to come over and fix it for me. :0)~ kidding. I know I had to do it. I am a homeowner afterall and with that comes a lot of responsibility.

hahahaha....this is so random. How did you find out she had the same fan/remote? I would have been so confused for a long time...

Karina, I was confused for a while but then figured out someone had to be turning my light on and off as no one was in the house and it was still happening. At first I thought their was a short in the electrical work. Didn't fully rule that out until my light would go off at 10:30pm and back on at 6am quite regularly. Figured a short wouldn't do that! :0)
